Amanda Brown has 16 years of experience in the fitness industry. She is a prior Australian Powerlifting Athlete and record holder as well as the founder and director of The Queen of Lean, an all-female transformation facility.
She believes in empowering women with movement, strength, and knowledge amongst a sisterhood of like-minded women to thrive together. Running this successful gym for over six years has enabled her to teach and help women embrace their starting point and to guide them on a path of personal evolution while respecting a balanced approach to managing the stressors that life can throw.
Her personal achievements have spanned from winning Natural Physique and Powerlifting competitions to breaking the National Deadlifting record of 168.5kg in the 57kg weight class. She again broke this record several times, taking her highest deadlift to 182.5kg in the same weight class. After winning numerous local competitions and placing second at the Australian Nationals, she competed at Finland’s June 2015 World Powerlifting Championships. She is recognised as one of Australia’s top female coaches and is extremely proud of building the Queen of Lean community from the ground up.
‘It is vital to support all areas of health in a gradual and sustainable habit change model for the best outcomes. Your transformation isn’t just a 12-week journey; although this can be a good stepping stone, valuing all facets of movement, vitality, happiness and feeling empowered by what you body can achieve is essential for long-term outcomes.
Amanda has coached numerous athletes to help them achieve their dream of competing in fitness competitions. Many have placed, and several women have won their overall divisions.
Amanda is a Level 2 Biosignature Practitioner, Level 3 Clean Health Intern, FMA Strength and Conditioning Coach, FDN Practitioner holding a Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness, with qualifications in AMT Muscle Testing.
