A deliciously moist tea cake which will entice every single one of your senses. The cinnamon and nutmeg are paired perfectly with the apple sweetness for a taste sensation. The most challenging part will be not eating the whole loaf!

Apple and Cinnamon Loaf (V, DF)

Serves 8 | Calories 203 | Fat 2.1g | C 47g | Protein 3.5g



  • 2 cups self-raising flour (I use Orgran gluten-free)
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 cup Apple Purée
  • 1/2 cup of honey
  • 1 Tsp Cinnamon
  • 1 Tsp Nutmeg
  • Two apples cored & chopped



  1. Heat the Oven to 180 degrees.
  2. In a medium bowl add all of your ingredients aside from your apple and mix until smooth before then folding in the apples.
  3. Add the mixture to a greased loaf tin and bake for 40 minutes or until cooked through.
