1. Tell me about yourself and what you are passionate about.
As a coach, I’m a lover of lifting heavy things, helping my clients move well, move pain free, learn about their bodies, and feel confident in the gym, and utilising resistance training to achieve their goals. Outside of the gym, I’m passionate about learning (about the human body, and getting better lifting heavy things mostly), reading, exercising, my dog, and getting out into the sun.
2. If you could achieve your fitness goals by waving a magic wand, what would you wish for?
I feel like achieving my strength goals with the wave of a wand would take all the fun out of training, so id probably wish for a cardiorespiratory system of the fittest person on earth, so that I could lift and lift and lift and lift all the weights without feeling tired or needing any recovery
3. When training a client what makes you the happiest?
When a movement or skill ‘clicks’ and feels natural to them, they are using all the right muscles, feel strong, and confident in their own bodies to achieve the goal at hand.
4. Favourite Workout Track or Playlist?
I can listen to anything when I’m training; during heavy lifts I do best with complete silence!
5. Favourite Quote?
I can’t choose one.. the ones that first come to mind; ’you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with, choose wisely’, or
“No man has the right to be an amateur in the matter of physical training; it is a shame for a man to grow old without seeing the beauty and strength of which his body is capable.
