Nothing beats a big festive grazing table and Christmas Bark is a great add-on to serve solo or to give any festive setting to any table. It gives you crunch, taste as well as some nutritious benefits. Mostly, I love the deep dark chocolate flavours mixed with the fruit and nut combination; plus it is uber easy with 3 ingredients and 10 minutes total to whip together.

Christmas Bark (VG, DF, GF)

Serves 6 | Calories 257 | Fat 18g | C 14.7g | Protein 4.6g

  • 200g dark chocolate (preferably 70-80%)
  • 20g freeze dried strawberries
  • 50 pistachios

  1. Line a flat baking tray with baking paper and set aside.
  2. Melt the chocolate in a double broiler ie a medium saucepan with 3 inches of water and a metal bowl sitting on top. Bring the water to boil and add the chocolate into the top bowl. Keep the water temp low to medium and wait till all of the chocolate has melted.
  3. Pour the melted chocolate over the prepared tray and spread out into an even layer.
  4. Sprinkle over the chopped freeze dried raspberries and pistachios.
  5. Leave in the fridge to set before cutting into slices and storing in an airtight container in the fridge-this will keep up to 5 days
