1. Tell me about yourself and what you are passionate about?
A huge passion of mine is mindfulness. I’m very conscious of how stress can negatively affect every aspect of your life; mood, sleep, digestion, energy, the list goes on! Meditation and yoga are a big part of my life, and I believe everyone should implement these activities into their daily/weekly routines. The impact it makes on your life is incredible. Asides from wellness, I am very passionate about animals! I live a vegan and cruelty-free life, have 2 kittens at home and one day I’m going to have a big backyard with some chickens, a cow, and probably a little piglet
2. If you could achieve your fitness goals by waving a magic wand, what would you wish for?
A fitness goal I have that I’d love to achieve by magic would be to do a full chin-up, I’m onto band-assisted chin ups now so hopefully it’s not too far behind. I’d also love to deadlift 100kg, please!
3. When training a client what makes you the happiest?
The best feeling in the world is helping a client achieve one of their fitness goals. Nothing compares to seeing the glow that women get when they see their progression and can feel how strong they are.
4. Favourite Workout Track or Playlist?
My favourite workout tracks/playlist is actually heavy metal (I know, please don’t cringe), it just gets me so pumped up!
5. Favourite Quote?
A quote that’s always been ingrained in my mind is actually from Shakespeare’s Hamlet – “We know what we are, but not what we may be”. It reminds me to always believe in myself and that we all have the potential to grow and achieve anything that we work hard for.
