1. Tell me about yourself and what you are passionate about
I was born in the Philippines and moved here when I was 2 years of age. I live in Spotswood with my partner and 2 cats, I grew doing karate and became a black belt at the age of 11. I was in the hospitality industry for about 6 years prior to personal training and in the year of 2011 I worked at Disney Land in Orlando, Florida for 12 months and no I was not Mickey Mouse.
I am passionate about working with people understanding their perspectives and helping them create their best life through health, fitness and well-being. I love learning everything and anything about the brain and how it work, human behaviour, movement and universal laws.
I am also passionate about dancing especially hip hop style, anything with a great beat and I am on the d-floor.
2. If you could achieve your fitness goals by waving a magic wand, what would you wish for?
To perform a muscle up, have amazing flexibility, unlimited oxygen supply when I do any kind of cardio. Oh and to also eat pizza and fro-yo more once a week without gaining fat. Thanks!
3. When training a client, what makes you the happiest
When I see them get excited about making their own sustainable changes, learning and practicing how to be mindful on a daily basis, connecting with them on an emotional level and seeing them still smiling after a hard workout.
