Raw slaw is delicious and nutritional and can be enjoyed anytime! With an array of different vegetables not only will your salad be action packed with nutrients, it’s perfect in supporting you body’s natural detoxification processes.

Our favourite accompaniment would have to be BBQ meats, slow cooked roasts or even using this salad to top off a bun-less burger. Raw Summer slaw with toasted seeds and nori- shredded cabbage, silver beet, carrot, beetroot and citrus dressing

  • 1/4 red cabbage
  • 1/4 white cabbage
  • 3 beetroots
  • 1/2 bunch silverbeet
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 nori sheets
  • 1/2 cup toasted seeds(pumpkin, sesame and sunflower seeds)
  • zest & juice 1/2 orange
  • 1Tbs rice vinegar
  • 1Tbs agave syrup

Slaw

So easy just shredded up both cabbages into a large bowl. Then add in grated carrot and beetroots. Finely slice the silverbeet both leaves and stems and do the same with nori sheets. Mix really well add in dressing and then sprinkle with toasted seeds

Dressing

Whisk together both lemon, orange and zests in a bowl with the vinegar and syrup.
